hi, i am interested in dual monitors however tower only has one port vga(old). can i use a usb port to the vga port to make second one work? thanks

hi if i use this cable to try to project a laptop screen will it work? my laptops' vga port is messed up so i need to try usb to vga. i already tried vga to hdmi and it didnt work.
